Bbc Short Story Competition 2024. Novelist and short story writer, ross raisin has won the nineteenth bbc national short story award with cambridge university (nssa) for ‘ghost kitchen’, a tense, cinematic story. It aimed to recognise and celebrate the very best writers of short fiction who had no prize equivalent to major literary awards like the man booker prize.
The titular story won the regional prize for asia in the 2019 commonwealth short story contest. To enter the bbc national short story award with cambridge university, submit original fiction no longer than 8,000 words.
